Brand: Open Safety

Originating from our Commercial Umbilical Primary Life Support system that passed CE and NORSOK certification in 2011, the rebreather with the longest proven scrubber duration, has now been optimised as the Incursion IMIL-ER (Extended Range) military use and is of particular suitability for SDV/DDV pilots or Deep MCM dives.
Low-mag by default the Incursion IMIL-ER can be optioned non-mag to NATO STANAG standard.
For mixed gas diving either in SCR or eCCR modes, a Trimode gas switch is available, to enable safe gas-switching underwater; without leaving the loop. An offboard QC whip can be optioned for direct connectivity to onboard SDV/DDC OC gas for either OC or SCR usage or alternatively EBS connectivity.
The counterlungs are protected by the hard shell and ensure minimal drag and zero effect from any SDV/DDV slipstream.

Offering integrated OC bailout valve via ALVBOV with either half-mask or FFM; solid state PPO2 & end-tidal CO2 monitoring displayed on a HUD and integrated electrical scrubber heating when specified as an eCCR; with either dual 2.2kg 5” EACs or 5kg of granular media in its parallel scrubbers.

This extended range underwater life support system offers, the lowest work of breathing (WOB) ever verified for rebreather UBA, at 1.38J/L under CE test conditions of 40m depth on Air at 75lpm. However, can be safely operated to 350m with sufficient surface, bell or submarine support.

These unique market leading features, ensure the Open Safety iMIL-ER (Extended Range) Incursion and Commercial Umbilical primary life-support Rebreather, remain well out in front of any competition.

Exhaustive Incursion IMIL-ER test and design validation reporting and/or datasheet available to approved clients on request.

Designed and manufactured under ISO 9000 Q.A. system in Scotland
