Providing 6000 liters of gas at 300 bar, the primary application is for emergency bail out gas in deep diving MCM operations, for additional decompression gas, or any emergency and rescue situations where secure deployment of gas is required.Model: Model IMIL-EBS
Unit measure: pcs
Military Non-Magnetic Emergency Bailout System for either pre-deployed bailout at depth IAW USN Diving Manual for Mixed-Gas MCM Operations/Training or to enable rapid deployment of Open Circuit gas or Semi-Closed gas extension to divers decompressing. System provides 6000 litres of gas, when filled to 300 bar and can be configured with either Oxygen, Nitrox or Heliox/Trimix as suits the individual dive plan.
The primary application is for emergency bail out gas in deep diving MCM operations, for additional decompression gas, or any emergency and rescue situations where secure deployment of gas is required. The IMIL-EBS is light enough to be carried by one person at 16kg empty and 24kg when full at 300 bar. The IMIL-EBS has handling bars on all sides to be man-handled in rough terrain or to attach to anchors and lines in maritime environments.
The IMIL-EBS is fitted with two pilot valve regulators able to provide ease of breathing at depths to 350m. One regulator is connected to each cylinder, with an armoured flexible connection between the two cylinder valves. The valves are progressively opening for the maximum oxygen safety.
Frame handles are engineered to be both anchor points for anchoring/retrieval but also optimised for carriage and securing at sea. Additionally frame provides both shock absorption and protection for the carbon cylinders, valves and regulators/whips.
A buoyancy pack allows the IMIL-EBS to be weighted for negative, positive and neutral buoyancy. All weights are supplied. Without weights, the IMIL-EBS is 10kg positively buoyant when empty; enabling it to be anchored to the seabed but independently float to the surface for retrieval on release.
Care and Storage Instructions
- After use, wash in fresh water and allow to dry in a well ventilated area out of direct sunlight
- Store in a well ventilated dry area away from direct sunlight
